People are scared
People are scared on hearing the name of leopard. Bahraich DFO Ajit Pratap Singh said about the viral video that the place from where the video has gone viral, we already knew that there is a leopard at that place. We had already alerted the team and some local people about this. If needed, surveillance will also be done with drone cameras.
DFO gave suggestions to the people
After the leopard was seen in the camera, the DFO said, seeing it does not mean rescuing it. Because let them live and as long as they do not do anything against their nature, they remain in their original nature. In such a situation, there is no need to rescue them. Rather they need protection. The villagers need to be alert. They need to sleep inside the room inside the house. Avoid going inside the sugarcane field to cut grass etc., do not go to the fields to defecate.
